Dirty sexy roadtrip

Country: United States of America
State: Florida
County: Miami-Dade
Population: City, 409719

There are probably a few reasons why we visited Miami. Miami? Duu-hh the Beach, to have fun under the sun and enjoy the stunning seascape. Then drive along the highway. Lunch at inventive restaurants, shopping at fashion district and live the nightlife to the fullest. Miami combines the best of both worlds -modern music and Salsa.

We went in a group of 17. Huge.

It was a disaster. Mr. Bus and me, we cannot be together.

I did, I slept with Mr. Bus; for approximately five hours with a squashed dirty seat surrounded by dodgy bald moustached men. I felt like I was being murdered at the back alley in New York City. I almost went mental; if I did Felix will look at me in horror, and then run.

By the time we reach, I needed to feel the excitement but it was “[tone: Blaire] I am going to vomit.” It was cold and dirty. Perhaps it would be nice if dirty uncle Sal and his evil minions could stop suggesting adventurous ideas in a deserted area, I would have stop being such a bitch. I swear I was like a ticking bomb. I certainly can’t afford to please everyone and be nice to everyone around me. It is impossible.

I am a pain in the ass.

Then the climax - Mr. Ego and Mr Dickhead; at the moment I was on a roller-coaster ride. You know when they flip your stomach upside down and make you drop, that was it. It was absurd! They were way more dominant and horrible then I thought they were. I was frustrated with their egotistic decision making. We're all tired and exhausted, but that does not give one an excuse for being rude. I swear their voice was filled with hatred with dripping venom as if the others were vermin.

Apparently I realized the more you disagree with Mr. Ego and Mr. Dickhead, the more they will sink their teeth in your neck and fucking ripped it apart. I was being mentally abused by these vicious bastards. At that point I was dying to ditch them. I have to admit, I was selfish and furious.

I must apologize to those who wanted to have plans together but failed.

Anyway that was the end of a sad story, and a beginning of the dirtiest (in a good way, of course) road trip. We got separated, praise the lord. I will go completely bonkers if we didn’t.

This is it! This its it! The moment your excitement kicks in. I think I forgotten to mention, we rented a mini-van. If only it was a hummer. Okay, so the group I was with was “Hello OMFG, awesome darlings!” They are such fun people.

Memories. Like my previous post on Miami, it was fanfuckingtastic.

That night, it was shopping night. The next day was beach day and of course when it’s dark it’s another shopping/sight seeing night.

Beach day was breath-taking. I couldn’t recall when was the last time I has so much fun with my friends. Don’t count Redang, that was pure sleep eat relax.

Pictures were flooding my laptop, hilarious videos were everywhere. This only happens once in your life time. Maybe there will be more, but screw it. Whatever.

I was rather disappointed I didn’t get to enjoy the nightlife to the fullest. It is not a party if it doesn’t include drinking, dancing, and passing out, of course! A little strip tease would be fun.

Don’t get me wrong, a good trip doesn’t really need to include wild parties. Beer pong was good too! Of all names, our narrator came up with Funny pants and pink something and Nike something. Classic, LM.

So what happens in ‘Miami’ stays in ‘Miami’.

I got what I needed from Miami, the beach!. And the next time I return to Miami, it will be wilder and richer.

Till then, xoxo

An affair to remember

Life is easy. When one day, with no effort you wake up and tell yourself - I am going to Obama land. I wish I can do that to my next stop Europe.

For now…

It’s au revoir, United States of America.
When it comes to travel, everyone has a story and here is my first story in Orlando, Florida.

I don't see myself as the adventurous sort. I am picky, extremely picky and spoiled. I have no clue how to read a map. I am scared of dirty places. I have no clue how the bus schedule works etc. There are probably 100 lists of things that will piss me off but somehow I survived. Learned a lot and it is truly one heck of a journey.

The first thing I notice upon arriving in Orlando, Florida is the roads and traffic. The roads are so wide, there are no high, and I mean really high rise buildings. Its just shops lots everywhere and they are so far apart. Trust me, it feels like Ipoh, Perak. Wait! It is worst than that. In order to travel from one place to another you have to walk more than 15minutes under the hot sexy sun. If you don’t have a car, everyday will scream for the word “mother chucker”. Pretty much that is what I do everyday once I wake up. From one ulu place to another more expensive ulu place, I guess.

Of course, no doubt the people from the more expensive ulu place are very friendly. Practically everyday, they are all bright and hyper. Sometimes I think they do fake their friendliness.

See what I mean. I am picky and I love to grumble.

Sea world. It is like a mini zoo-theme park. I love the dolphins, Shamu, penguins and my all time favourite the Beluga! The very first thing I will do once I start my shift is to check out pictures from the Shamu show and the Beluga Interaction. They are amazing!

My typical day for the past three months was something like this: wake up, tv-cook, work, and internet-cook/take out then head to sleep land. Sometimes I do hang out at apartment 5103, have late gossip session, movie night, grocery shopping at 12 in the morning and etc. Sometimes I get back late and all I want to do is jump on my bed.

The job is almost the same from my previous jobs; just that the people and culture are a little different. No big changes, it is nothing like what I expected. Afternoon shift. Duh! I loved my shift; I am never a morning person. During winter, it is pitch black at 6pm and I usually get off at 7 or 8pm. Like I mentioned, no-car-dilemma leads to my-heart-stops-every-minute when I walk back home, alone at night. Fine, I hated it. My hours can’t cover- zero part of my living and travelling expenses.

On top of that, I am not really close to any of my co-workers (the local) due to the constant changes of work area. I get to work around the park until January. You must be wondering, what about the Malaysians that I worked with? I prefer to not talk about it. Later in December I think, I meet friendly and funny Brazilians. There is Robson the cute one, Tamara my gossip buddy, Jorge the funny guy and Renan the serious one. I did enjoy working with them. There are times where we don’t understand each other, but still it was fun. Oh! and one from South Africa, Nthabi. She’s a darling, sometimes.

Love them to bits.

The good thing about the movie theaters in Obama land is, you pay once to watch everything. We often go there in the evening and head home in the morning. That’s our favourite hang out spot. And our favourite makan spot is Sizzler! It’s a cheap buffet and edible. The food? Nothing to shout about.

There are many places to go around Orlando but the only place you would want to avoid going is probably down town. It is scary. I remember every time, okay twice maybe? I went to this shopping mall, Mall at Milennia. There is a shooting reported the next day. I was speechless.

Okay, here is a summary where I’ve been. I must say, I spend most of time in the malls instead of going to interesting places.

1. Disney, the four main theme parks. Magic kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood and Ecpot.

2. Universal studio

3. Islands of Adventure

4. Busch Garden, Tampa

5. Discovery cove

6. Disney downtown

7. Pointe Orlando [movie+shopping]

8. Prime outlet [shopping]

9. St. Augustine

10. NBA games, downtown

My 10 most unforgettable memories in Orlando:

1. Grocery shopping at Walmart and Publix with the boys.

2. Late gossip nights in 5103, Felix and Darrell room.

3.Gossip night at my place. Swirl and Queen B woke up my house mates.

4. Eating Chinese take out with the boys.

5. Movie marathon with the boys. Best experience is Marley and Me. It was classic.

6. Crashing in the bak kut teh session.

7. Watching Dead Silence, horror flick in the dark with happy people.

8. Insane shopping and bobba tea hunting with the girls.

9. Waking up at 5103 and shocked the residents

10. 6 people screaming at me because I want to buy a $1,500 Burberry bag

They are the best.

Shane, Lee Ming, Darrell, Felix, Charmaine, T-Yee and bing.
Gosh! I heart them.

Darrell, Felix and Emily, I have the best travelling buddy.
What more could I ask for.
Mary! I miss working with her, can't believe we will meet half way across the world.
Stay tuned for more stories.

Picture of you, picture of me.

It has been an extraordinary journey in the States. Three months and now its over.

I am going to miss this place and that feeling just kills me a lil.

but Hey! looking on a brighter side, the upcoming three weeks is going to be motherchucker exciting. One week in Los Angeles, another week in New York City and lastly Canada!

gosh, I hate that I'm going to miss him. I've been searching for that someone, to show me the way, take my hand and tell me that everything will be okay; I've been searching for that someone, and now I might have found that special someone in you.

Young and Broke

Miami. One word, Fanfuckingtastic. Slept in a very creepy bus. Stayed in a omfg creepy and dirty hostel. Rented a car, drove a minivan for the first time in three months. The GPS reader, *ahem* Darrell was scary. "Go straight" "Ohh.. go straight ahh-" "Turn right, the inner lane." "ohhh.." "Turn left, the outer laneeeeee." "ohhhh." "You're on the other laneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" "Ooops, sorry sorry." Drove on the wrong lane. Everyone yelled: "Emilyyyyyyyyyyyy...". Had good lunch at both location, Books and Books and Bubba Gump. Enjoyed our time at the Fashion District. Bought beer, but everyone fell asleep. Sunrise plan for the first day failed. Head to the beach for some tanning, and to check out cute dogs and vintage cars. Had a blast at The Torch of Friendship. Visited the World Exotic Museum. Walked the freaky street at Washington Avenue. A friend became the delicious food for Mr. Girl. Saved him and ran. Witnessed a police sniffing. Stayed wide awake to play PONG till morning. Then to the beach to see sunrise... it was amazing. Had our last ride on the minivan. Went on a broken bus. and finally - home. It was like heaven.

Obama fairy land

Ems is back.

She is enjoying her stay in the States, pretending to busy. She did not have additional working hours for the past one month. Now she doesn't want her hours because all she wants to do is travel. Pretty much explains how shopping killed her green angels in the wallet. She loves the cold but hates the red itchy rashes. She thinks the American boys isn't that bergaya after all. She loves her pretty insane and lovely friends here. She needs to thank god one day for having such awesome travelling buddies and house mates. She loves late nights gossip girl session. She enjoyed eating Chinese take out with her travelling buddies. She hates dirty kitchen and cooking. She thinks Queen B and friends is scarryyy. She has been deeply traumatized by the yellow-boys behaviour. She's the last person who has not tour the place she's been working for the past 2 and a half month. She did enjoyed her Christmas. She was working on New Year. She thinks Chinese New Year was a total disaster. She believes that "dreams do come true" in Disney World. She wants more boba tea. She finally bought a fishy eye lomo. She went to a NBA game. She had a mother-chucker trip to the oldest town in America *i think*. She is already planning her Indon trip. She's been going to the movie pretty often. She had a blast watching Marley and Me-tearspouring-session with boys. She thinks the Peru-ians, South African-ians, and Brazilians is friendly and awesome. She went to two omg-wild party. Lastly, she is missing her Happy tree family and friends.

This might be able to explain everything.
